More women should be creating podcasts about money, finance and business. Why? Because there’s a huge gap between men and women when it comes to investing, raising business investment, average earnings and pensions.

At the time of putting this panel together, only 7 out of the top 20 business-related podcasts had female presenters. And only 3 out of those 20 were presented by a solo female host (vs 12 by solo male hosts). There simply aren’t enough women-led finance conversations which speaks to a much wider issue about the gender wealth gap.

In our Money Talks: Finance Podcasting session, our panellists discuss why it’s important to hear women talking to women about money and explore how we overcome the often systemic barriers to get more women-hosted finance podcasts out there.
