Ticket Terms and Conditions

Content is Queen reserves the right to update the terms and conditions at any time.

These terms relate to tickets for the International Women’s Podcast Festival on 4th October 2024. T&Cs for Sarah Koenig can be found on the Southbank Centre’s website.

1. Tickets Sales and Transfers

  • All ticket sales are refundable until 4th August 2024.

  • We are unable to admit any babies or children.

  • Discounted and early bird tickets are strictly non-transferable.

  • Full price tickets are transferable until Tuesday 3rd September 2024.

  • Tickets include VAT and a VAT receipt will be sent after purchase.

  • Full price tickets may be transferred to another attendee up to and including the advertised transfer date by emailing festival @ contentisqueen .org with the subject line TRANSFER REQUEST.

  • Any gifts given by the conference organisers or sponsors at the event will not be available to ticket holders who have not attended.

  • We reserve the right to refuse to sell a ticket to anyone.

2. Right of Admission and Code of Conduct

  • Each ticket admits one person.

  • You are not required to bring a physical ticket; the organisers will hold a guest list.

  • Ticket holders are not permitted to bring friends or family who do not have a ticket to any festival event or fringe event.

  • We reserve the right to refuse entry or to remove any ticket holder should the need arise.

  • You agree to comply with the code of conduct at all times.

  • The International Women’s Podcast Festival is an inclusive event and our aim is to create a place where everyone feels welcomed and supported.

  • This is primarily a safe space for women and people who identify as femme. Anyone who threatens or breaks that safety will be asked to leave.

  • As an attendee or participant you will treat people with respect and consideration. You will refrain from discrimination, harassment, misgendering and other behaviour that makes attendees uncomfortable.

  • Any person or persons found to be in breach of these guidelines or who is harassing festival attendees, speakers or staff will be asked to leave immediately and not permitted to return.

3. Covid Measures

  • If you or a member of your household have tested positive for covid in the last seven days please do not attend the in-person event.

  • Any government measures in place to minimise infection will be followed at the event.

4. Cancellation of the Event

  • In the event of cancellation due to force majeure or circumstances beyond our control, we do not accept liability.

  • In the event of cancellation due to circumstances within our control, your ticket will be refunded at the value you paid.

5. Schedule

  • The advertised schedule is subject to change.

6. Distribution of Marketing Materials for a Third Party

  • You are not permitted to distribute materials for or advertise a personal sponsor, employer or client during the conference on a standard ticket.

  • This includes, but is not limited to, spamming the festival hashtag or wearing promo t-shirts (nobody needs to see that).

  • Please respect the investment our sponsors have made in supporting the event.

  • Corporate attendance is available for those wishing to connect one to one with attendees.

7.  Property

  • Content is Queen accepts no liability for loss or damage to property brought to the event. You remain responsible for your possessions at all times.

  • Property left on hanging rails is left at the owner’s risk.

8. Film and Photography

  • The organisers will film and photograph the event.

  • These materials will be used online and offline to promote Content is Queen and to advertise future events.

  • By attending the event you agree to appear in such films and photographs.
