Power of the Producer

In the ever increasing conversation about equity and accessibility in the audio industry, lots of attention is rightfully given to the large companies, the gatekeepers, the executives. But how much responsibility do we have as individual producers to help move us closer to our shared goal?

This panel will examine the power producers have in the choices we make, how to create trust between contributors and production to ensure you are telling someone else's story the right way, and how to push back on a system where profit and speed can often come at the sake of ethical storytelling.

This panel is hosted by Bea Duncan who is joined by Cherise Hamilton-Stephenson, Tej Adeleye and Fatuma Khaireh.
