Bea Duncan
Bea Duncan is an award winning creative, producer, sound designer and community builder. Her recent highlights include being nominated Producer of the Year, the highest accolade in the UK Audio Industry bestowed on the UK's 6 best producers of 2023. She also won Bronze for Best Society & Lifestyle Producer, and has been listed as both a Radio Academy 30 under 30 and a PodPod 'One To Watch'.
Her work has included Power Lines with The Kyiv Independent (award nominated), Who Robs A Banksy for Podimo UK (award nominated), Money 101 for BBC Sounds, Anthems (multi award winning), This City with Clara Amfo and 10/10 Would Recommend for Netflix, and I've produced high profile talent including Mark Ronson, Louis Theroux and Fiona Hill.
She is currently the Senior Commercial Partnerships Producer at Intelligence Squared, and before that led the production team at Broccoli Productions as the Senior Managing Producer.
She founded and run the Entry Level Audio Network, a community for people starting out in audio to network and support each other, and was part of the team who created the Equality In Audio Pact. As such, she is recognised as a key member of the audio community, having been asked to be a judge for the Audio Production Awards, ARIA's, and British Podcast Awards.
Bea will be hosting the Power of the Producer Panel alongside Tej Adeleye, Cherise Hamilton-Stephenson & Fatuma Khaireh at this year’s festival.
