Cherise is an investigative journalist and presenter with a passion for social issues and contemporary politics.

She is a presenter and producer for Channel 4 news social media channels and recently presented her first documentary for Channel 4 investigating racial bias and artificial intelligence.

She is also the host and creator of the award-winning politics podcast, Interconnected Voices, a show that amplifies underrepresented voices in British media and makes politics understandable for younger audiences. It has won two British Podcast Awards.

Cherise will be speaking on the Power of the Producer Panel alongside Bea Duncan, Tej Adeleye & Fatuma Khaireh at this year’s festival.
