“From Sarah Koenig to Renay Richardson, women in podcasting are repeatedly at the bleeding edge of the medium's most exciting and innovative successes. In a world where they are expect to work twice as hard to get half the acclaim of their male peers, women are repeatedly pushed to go above and beyond in this medium - breaking barriers and bringing podcasts to an ever-larger global audience.”

Ella has been Head of Production for Six to Start since November 2023, the same year she was recognised as one of The Radio Academy's 30 Under 30.

In her current position, she is responsible for commissioning, casting and recording all material for the audio drama and fitness apps Marvel Move - in collaboration with Marvel Comics, and Zombies, Run! In addition to these, Ella works as a freelance casting and voice director for podcasts and games.
