Ruth spent over 10 years at the BBC working as a music journalist, presenter and documentary maker. She collaborates with brands and networks including the BBC, Audible, adidas, net-a-porter, Unicef, The UN, The Wellcome Trust, Pushkin Industries and more. Ruth brings her extensive on air experience to working with talent of all levels to help them find their podcast voice.
Ruth founded Chalk + Blade which was one of the first podcast indies founded in the UK and has an award winning track record on both sides of the Atlantic.
Ruth will be hosting the How to Tell Stories That Matter Panel alongside Jo Youle, Helen Parker & Leona Fensome at this year’s festival.
