“Women tend to be less uncomfortable in being vulnerable, which can lead to a deeper level of conversations, connections and exchanges. When people are deeply touched, that's when we make a mark, cause positive changes and have a real impact in the world.”

After 10 years working as a marketing executive in São Paulo, Brazil, Viviane had the opportunity to live her dream of becoming a professional mountain biker at the age of 29. She immersed myself in the world of high performance racing and got to focus 100% on training and performing when it counts. She achieved 2 national titles in Cross-Country Marathon and won two Brasil Ride, one of the hardest mountain bike stage races in the world.

With her communication background and skills, and a deep knowledge and experience in mountain biking, Viviane was invited by Red Bull TV to comment on the Mountain Bike World Cups live broadcast in Portuguese, which she did for three seasons (until the broadcasting rights were sold to Warner Bros).

In 2021, Viviane started MTB PASS Podcast in partnership with the already well-established Gregario Cycling Podcast, with the goal of making mountain biking more accessible for everyone. In 2023 she officially settled in Québec, Canada, where she works full time as a mountain bike coach and skills instructor. Teaching people, sharing knowledge and helping others develop their abilities in sports and life is what motivates Viviane the most, and it’s amazing that she does this in three different languages: Portuguese, English and French.

Viviane is speaking on the Sports Podcasting Panel alongside Suzy Wrack, Simone Stewart and Isabel Sachs.
