Simone is most proudly a Wolverhampton girl born to two Jamaican immigrants who has always followed her passion for storytelling. Simone is passionate about helping young people and telling people's stories.

After graduating from University of Wolverhampton she went onto work in journalism. Simone is an award-winning video journalist having previously worked for BBC News and BBC Sport making digital videos. She won Best Digital Video Award at the BBC for her story on the effects of knife crime in the UK. She is currently working at ITV Sport as a Junior Producer.

In her spare time Simone watches F1 and even has a podcast, Wheel It Up F1 with 2 other black women talking all things F1, they have been featured in PodBible as one of the top 6 F1 podcasts and on billboards across the UK including in Leicester Square and Glasgow.

Simone is currently working on a children's sports book with her friend which they turned into a short film that won best short film at the Wolverhampton Film Festival. Simone also loves food and to travel.

Simone is speaking on the Sports Podcasting Panel alongside Suzy Wrack, Viviane Favery Costa and Isabel Sachs.
