“I am excited to be part of the festival as it’s a fantastic positive space for us all to share knowledge, experience and inspiration.”

Clare Lynch

Clare has lived and worked in Soho for over 20 years. In that time she has worked with and for the local community including at Soho Radio and The Photographers Gallery who commissioned her first podcast series: Soho Then a photo-based podcast series where she documented people’s memories and experiences of living and working in Soho from 1920-2000. This series was featured in Observer newspaper, Time Out and BBC Radio 4 Extra. It was also included in 'Shot in Soho’ exhibition.

She has worked at online radio station Soho Radio since 2014 producing and presenting talk shows that have included The Soho Hour - one of the ‘isolation dailies’ that was featured in the West End Extra, Evening Standard Observer newspapers.

Alongside her work at Soho Radio she is a freelance audio producer creating podcasts for charities including Women of the Year, activists, academics and arts organisations. Recent series, Sculpting Lives, produced by Clare for the Paul Mellon Centre for British Art, series one was selected as Art podcast of the week in Guardian in March 2020 and series two was featured in Sunday Times December 2021.
