FayFay is an Audio Storyteller, Audio Producer, Podcast Producer and Podcaster who runs an Audio Production company called 808 Xtra Sound. Due to her love for podcasting, she founded a podcast community in Nigeria called NaijaPodHub to grow and build the Nigerian podcasting industry. Before building 808 Xtra Sound, she was Head of Radio Production at CMA Group owners of Soundcity Radio, Urban96 FM and Correct FM.
With a passion for storytelling and a great ear for quality content, FayFay has led her team at 808 Xtra Sound to create great podcasts like My Name is Azed, Asoebi for TNC Africa, Oyo’s Women and Egba Women’s Revolt with Loopify Media and so many other amazing podcasts. She has been a judge for a podcast competition created by the BBC and another by Moore Audio and is currently a Training Lab Advisor with Google PRX. At the Festival FayFay will be a Global Voices Keynote speaker.
