Laura Ubaté

Laura Ubate is a colombian host and podcast producer. She did public radio for 4 years before dedicating full-time to podcast at the multilingual company Adonde Media. She has worked on 5 different narrative series, including a Spotify Original that received a mention of honor at Premios Ondas 2022 (first awards for podcasting in Spain). Her personal podcast is called Viajes Inmóviles, and has received international attention. She received an Audio-Documentary Fellowship at Salt Institute in 2021.

Laura is the Public Relations manager at Podcaster@s, the biggest network of spanish-speaking podcasters and founded a local community of producers in Bogota, Colombia, called: Café Podcastero. At the Festival Laura will from part of the Global Voices Panel.
