Emily is the Co-Founder of Ghost Island Media - a women-led and multilingual podcast network in Taiwan that produces shows that make an impact, from climate to cannabis, from audio documentary to mentorship, and from journalism to diplomacy. They started in 2019 as the first podcast media in Taiwan and their shows have won “Best Podcast Host” at the KKBOX Awards (Taiwan) in 2021; and been nominated at the Excellent Journalism Award (Taiwan) in 2020 and two “Best New Podcast” at the KKBOX Awards (Taiwan) in 2022.
Emily is also host of "Metalhead Politics" (English), "Balades Culturelles Franco-Taïwanaises" (Mandarin and French). At the festival Emily will be a Global Voices Keynote speaker.
